Dr. Bharat Kulkarni is the Founder Director of Stalwart Management Consultancy Services. Bharat is a known name in policy advisory and development of Agricultural value chains. He has worked with agencies like United Nations and has been a consultant to International organizations like The World Bank Group, UN-ITC, USAID, AGRA and others. He is a renowned name in Agricultural policies globally and has been advising various governments on Agricultural policies and market development.

He is a highly sought-after speaker on Agribusiness in Africa and travels across the globe to speak at various conferences year round. Recently he has been speaking at conferences like the Global Commodity Forum, World Investment Forum, Global AgInvesting, Harvard Business School and many other.

He is a Recipient of two awards

• Maharaja’s Excellence in Leadership award for exemplary work in establishment of commodity markets in Africa in 2012
• ICSI Best Essay Award in 2001 by Institute of Company Secretaries of India

He was also the member of several International Working Groups and Task forces on Commodity markets, and is the National Chairman for Indo Global SME Chamber, a chamber of commerce and State President of MSME for Maharashtra at CIMSME, India.

He is a PhD in Economics, with Masters Degrees in both Finance and in Economics. He has authored two books, one on “Agri risk Management” and another one on “Commodity Derivatives and Markets”.

He is a regular practitioner of Sahajayoga, a method of meditation founded by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. He has keen interest in reading and enjoys reading in all the three languages- English, Hindi and Marathi.
